Global Experts Energize PE Teachers at Bahrain Gymnasiade 2024 Conference
Oct 26, Manama, Bahrain – The second day of the PE Teachers Conference, held as part of the Bahrain Gymnasiade 2024, offered participants a dynamic lineup of workshops presented by international sporting federations and leading experts in physical education.
The day began with a morning session led by Monica Darode of the International Gymnastics Federation. Monica guided participants through essential aspects of aerobic gymnastics, focusing on rhythm, tempo, and movement aesthetics. Her workshop provided valuable insights into enhancing the quality and effectiveness of gymnastics training.
In the afternoon, Roman Jahoda from ComplexCore delivered an engaging and practical workshop. He provided an in-depth exploration of human body functions, offering expert advice on mobility, injury prevention, and innovative physical training methods. Participants gained a deeper understanding of biomechanics and received practical strategies for integrating these concepts into their teaching practices.
The afternoon session was also marked by the presence of distinguished guests, including the Director of Physical Education from the Ministry of Education in Bahrain and Antonio Hora Filho, ISF Vice President, and Hasnae El Alyoubi, ISF Executive Director. Their attendance underscored the significance of the conference in advancing physical education in the region.
The conference continues tomorrow, featuring workshops led by representatives from the International Federations of Basketball and Badminton. These sessions will provide further professional development opportunities for the dedicated group of PE teachers in attendance.
