BIG PREPARATIONS FOR THE UPCOMING WORLD SCHOOL ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP 2023
Trabzon in Turkiye is getting ready
ISF member, the Turkish School Sport Federation is the host for the next World School Athletics Championship taking place in Trabzon, where Söğütlü Athletics Stadium, is currently being renovated for the event.
ISF Technical Committee President Nihat Doker visited the construction area as an inspection visit to the venue. Existing tracks are dismantled as new tracks will be set up with the finalisation of the renovation.
Together with Mr. Doker, Assoc. Prof. Ömür Fatih Karakullukçu, President of Turkish School Sports Federation, Ali Faik Hacıoğlu, Deputy President and General Coordinator of the Organization, Ozan Çetiner, Director of Youth and Sports of Trabzon, President of ISF Athletics Technical Committee, and Güngör Doğanay, President of School Sports Organizing Board, and the accompanying delegation made sure that the ongoing work at the Athletics Stadium in Söğütlü will be done by the standards and on time for the ISF WSC Athletics taking place from 19-25th of June 2023.
