National Authorities Support Bahrain 2024
Sep. 24, Seef District, Bahrain — As a part of the ongoing preparation of the prestigious global school sport event, the local organising Committee (LOC) of the ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024, led by its Chairman, His Excellency Mr. Ali Isa Ishaqi, convened a series of meetings to review latest preparations for the event.
In attendance were Yousef Duaij, Director of Facilities at the General Sports Authority of Bahrain, representatives from the national federations of the sports featured in Bahrain 2024, along with Lounes Madene, Chairman of the Technical Committee of the LOC.
The national federations presented the latest updates on preparations per sport, offering detailed reports on staff training programs and readiness of the event organising. The discussions also centred on each federation's needs in terms of facilities, equipment, and technical support, underscoring the LOC’s commitment to ensuring all necessary resources are in place for a successful event.
The representatives of the national federations also expressed their desire to strengthen cooperation with the LOC, stressing the importance of joint coordination to ensure the smooth running of the event.
The LOC also reviewed marketing and promotion strategies to raise public awareness and boost community engagement. Additionally, the meeting addressed the importance of building partnerships with both public and private partners helping realise the event’s objectives.
The ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024 presents a unique opportunity to promote sportsmanship and encourages cultural exchange among nations. The event will significantly strengthen Bahrain’s sports infrastructure and reinforces the Kingdom’s commitment to excellence in hosting major international sports events.
