Registration for U15 Gymnasiade 2025 Extended Until March 4
Jan 31, Lausanne, Switzerland – Following a series of meetings between ISF, the Serbian School Sports Federation (SSSF), and the Local Organising Committee of Zlatibor (LOC), the registration deadline for the ISF U15 Gymnasiade – Zlatibor, Serbia 2025 has been extended by one month, now closing on March 4.
After the success of ISF Gymnasiade – Bahrain 2024, numerous ISF members have expressed their strong interest in sending delegations to this year’s U15 Gymnasiade. Based on the current intention information, the event is expected to welcome 4,000 athletes, doubling the size of Rio 2023! This extension allows delegations ample time to finalise registrations beyond the school and New Year holidays, ensuring more young school athletes can take part in this unique opportunity for competition, education, cultural exchange, and mutual understanding.
“We welcome everybody!"
Zeljko Tanaskovic, SSSF President and ISF Executive Committee Member, affirming Serbia’s confidence in hosting the largest-ever ISF U15 Gymnasiade.
With the new deadline in place, ISF and the Local Organising Committee will finalise competition schedules, accommodation, and transportation during the final preparation month.
Beyond the close collaboration between ISF, SSSF and the LOC, the support of Serbia’s National Federations plays a crucial role in ensuring the event's success.
On Wednesday, ISF Sport Director Saurabh Mishra and Event Director Uros Savic held an important meeting in Belgrade with representatives from Serbia’s National Federations overseeing the sports included in the U15 Gymnasiade. In the coming weeks, these federations will send experts to Zlatibor to assess preparations, providing support in competition facilities, timing and scoring systems, and the appointment of technical officials, working alongside the LOC and ISF Technical Commission.
