Uganda Secondary School Sports Association recogonized by the parliament for FEASSSA overall win

Uganda, 12 September 2019 - Uganda Secondary School Sports Association(USSSA) was recognized by the parliament for receiving the overall winning trophy at the 18th edition of the FEASSSA School Games in Arusha, Tanzania.

USSSA was also awarded for being the catalyst of the sport development in the country. The parliament also recognized Directors of private schools, in particular Dr Lawrence  Mulindwa, Justus Mugisha, ISF technical commission football president, the president of FEASSSA and vice president of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA), and Lawrence Mwonge of St Mary's Kitende, Standard High School Zzana and Buddo Secondary School for financing and developing sports. The motion that was moved by Hon Lydia Chackwel, was supported by all members of parliament.
