New ISF Member Bahrain Ready to Jump into ISF Events
This year the ISF welcomed Bahrain to the ISF family, with the Bahrain Schools and Collegiate Athletics Association becoming the latest ISF member, representing school sport in Bahrain.
Without delay, Bahrain has taken the opportunity to participate in ISF events and engage in the international school sport scene by registering for the upcoming 19th ISF Gymnasiade Normandy 2022.
The event taking place in 9 cities across the region of Normandy, France, will see for the first time in ISF, a total of 51 school students from Bahrain compete in athletics, badminton, basketball 3x3, beach volleyball, boxing, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, and wrestling.
With 277 different schools in Bahrain, both private and public, the Bahrain Schools and Collegiate Athletics Association acts as the sole regulator of school sport, nationally.
