CBDE Successfully Hosts 4th Edition of Brazilian School Games

Sep. 21, Recife, Brasil — This weekend, Recife welcomed the 4th edition of the Brazilian School Games (JEBS), featuring 28 teams and 5,444 student-athletes. Organized by the Brazilian School Sport Federation (CBDE), the event highlights Brazil’s commitment to developing school sports nationwide.

Brazil’s CBDE continues to shine on the global stage, with the success of U15 Rio 2023 and hosting the upcoming WSC FUTSAL 2025 showcasing their leadership in school sports.

President Laurent Petrynka and Executive Director Hasnae El Ayoubi of the International School Sport Federation (ISF) attended the event, along with Antonio Hora Filho, to witness the passion of Brazilian school athletes and coaches, as well as the meticulous organization by the federation. During their stay, they met with National Secretary of Amateur Sports Paulo Henrique Perna Cordeiro to discuss initiatives for promoting the all-round development of the younger generation through school sports events and educational activities, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in nurturing future talent.
