Starting on the 21st of February until the 1st of March 2018, the 24th ISF World Schools Championship Handball will be held in Doha, Qatar. After the Men Senior Handball Championship in 2015, Doha is showing their innovative approach to the youth by hosting the ISF World Schools Championship Handball organized by the ISF and the Qatar School Sport Association, providing the opportunity for the youth to follow in their heroes’ footsteps. Showing the grandeur of the event, partners of the ISF World School Championship Handball are the Qatar Olympic Committee, the Qatar Handball Federation followed by a strong support of the International Handball Federation.
For 7 days, students from over 20 countries will compete at their highest level. Delegations from Austria, Belgium Flanders, Brazil, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Iran, Israel, Luxembourg, Morocco, Poland, Qatar, Serbia, Slovenia, Sweden and Turkey will be present along with the Olympic Champion of 2008 & 2012: Mr Daouda Karaboue (Photo 1), the Member of the European Parliament, former player and national coach of Germany and Poland: Mr Bogdan Wenta (Photo 2) and Mr Bertrand Roine - Qatar Handball player, Silver Medalist IHF World Championship 2015 (photo 3)

As the ISF stands for the combination between education and sports for all, the event will, besides the daily competition, have a Cultural Festival with the aim of encouraging exchanges between the different cultures of participating countries. The young people are invited to introduce and promote their country and culture in an original way.

Thursday 22nd - Opening Ceremony and Group matches
Friday 23rd - Group matches
Saturday 24th - Group matches
Sunday 25th - Group matches & “Cultural day and Cultural & Education Festival “
Monday 26th - ¼ Finals
Tuesday 27th - ½ Finals
Wednesday 28th Finals and Closing ceremony / Prize-giving (medals and trophies)
From the 22st until the 26th of February, the event will be live broadcasted by the International Handball Federation and both the semi-finals and the final will be broadcasted on the Olympic Channel. All results can be find on the ISF Handball Facebook Page
