Sport is not only about winning or losing, it’s also about #JoyofMoving, learning, having fun and meeting new friends.
At this year’s Gymnasiade young athletes have a chance to visit the Sport Village and join ISF Youth Council and its 17 volunteers from 15 different countries.
Youth Council is running a project named Fun&Skills, advocating the importance of education through sport while also emphasizing the importance of having fun. At Gymnasiade 2018 Sport Village they are running three zones where everyone can test their skills and knowledge on Inclusion, Health and Sustainability.
Watch the following video where two young ISF Youth Council members Rashid from Qatar and Maniha from Pakistan present you their activities and aspirations, and invite you to visit them at the Sport Village.
This is the first time international young volunteers support ISF Gymnasiade by adding the educational segment to the event.
“Sport is not only about wining or loosing, but also about playing together, having fun and sharing skills. ISF young volunteers will welcome you every day in the Sports Village within the "Fun and Skills Zones", equipped with interactive and inclusive games, and designed for everyone by youth. That is how sustainability, inclusion and healthy lifestyle became part of the ISF's DNA.”
