The bulletin 1 for the ISF World Schools Volleyball Championship 2021 has been released.
From 22-30 May 2021, Foz do Iguaçu - Paranà, Brazil, will host the 25th edition of the ISF World Schools Volleyball Championship. The event will be organised by ISF and the School Sport Federation of Brazil (CBDE – Confederacao Brasileira do Desporto Esc).
The ISF WSC Volleyball is open to school teams only, and will be held in 2 different categories (date of birth 2003-2004-2005-2006):
- School Girls
- School Boys

“School volleyball world championship will be held in Brazil in 2021.
The International School Sport Federation – ISF has published the competition calendar confirming that next year the volleyball championship will be held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil.
According to Clesio Prado, the Paraná School Sports Federation president, this is a unique opportunity as it will be the first time that this championship comes to America.
"The impacts are more than positive to Brazil. Foz do Iguaçu is a powerful tourism hub, and the games will add to the cultural exchange being a different attraction for visitors and the athlete's family members. We are pleased to make this interlocution; expectations are very positives. Congratulations to CBDE and all involved."
For the director of sports of the Secretaria de Estado da Educação e Esportes of Paraná, Cristiano Barros Homem Del Rei, it is a great satisfaction to receive an event of such magnitude. He reinforced the effort that the State of Paraná has in the development of sports, especially the school, which has an annual investment of R $ 14 million and the sports equipment and teachers training Program.
Even though it is a very popular sport in the country, Brazil has not yet managed to win the world title in volleyball. This can be overcome in 2021, giving the event will be held in the country with the support of the Brazilians students fans.
The ambassador of the event, Giba (Olympic and World champion in volleyball), believes that this is a unique experience and it is an honor to work alongside Clesio Prado, the president of the CBDE and the FDEPR. They together are bringing the world volleyball championship to the state of Paraná.
