ISF and 1 Play Sports signed a social media broadcasting rights partnership agreement for the ISF World Schools Championship Online Chess 2020.
ISF allocated the social media broadcasting rights of ISF World Schools Championship Online Chess 2020 to 1 Play Sports. The company will broadcast three rounds of competition to their website, Facebook and YouTube channel.
This is the first ever ISF World Schools online Championship, being held online on the virtual competition platform Premium Chess.
Young players from 34 countries and 5 continents will participate in the first edition of the ISF World Schools Championship Online Chess 2020 The participants will be divided into two age categories: U17 (15 - 16-17) | date of birth 2003-2004-2005 and U14 (14-13) | date of birth 2006 – 2007.
The event began on Saturday, 3 October 2020, and will take place until October (until 25 October 2020). The following rounds of the competition will be broadcasted:
10-11 October; U17 qualifications
17-18 October; U14 finals
24-25 October; U17 finals
