Since the first African School Sport Forum, held in Rabat, Morocco, in January 2018, 12 African countries became the members of ISF. Along with Africa, America and Asia also added their shares; four countries from each continent joined ISF, raising the total number of ISF member states to 108.
Incredible global growth of ISF and School Sport proves that countries and world leaders are more and more aware of the benefits and values of youth sport being an essential part of education and school system.
With 108 member states from all around the World, ISF has reached new heights of development and progress, successfully executing and reinforcing the strategy to achieve its goals in accordance with Vision 2030.
With a breakthrough to Africa and the first ever International Youth Multisport event being held on the African soil, 2018 marks a record-breaking year. This year alone, 20 new countries joined the federation, majority of which also took part in the 17th edition of Gymnasiade (ISF School Summer Games).
