The ISF Triathlon will take place in Versailles, one of the most attractive cities in term of history, architecture, nature and the proximity with Paris.
Last Thursday, the primarily visit was planned with an official representative of the ISF, as required for all the ISF events. The observer appointed for the ISF Triathlon is the Vice-president of the management Committee, Stelios Daskalakis.
The day started with the visit of the infrastructures that will be used for the triathlon, the historical “Pièce d’eau des Suisses” of the Château de Versailles will be the starting point of the competitions with swimming, then cycling and running along the “Pièce d’eau des Suisses”.
The ISF Triathlon will be organized on the same day as the 6th edition of the “Triathlon du Roi”, organized by the Versailles Triathlon Club, but at a different schedule. The organization involves as many local participants as possible. The Sport Dance Association and Circus Art will do the Opening and Closing Ceremony along with the organizing, training and translation support of the European High School classes.
Then, Mister Daskalakis visited the accommodations and the catering places, all located near the competition. The morning ended with the visit of the City Hall of Versailles, in which will be held the closing ceremony and some meetings.
The afternoon was dedicated to the program and technical aspects with all the organizational teams involved. The discussions focused on the last details, on which the ISF expertise opinion of Mister Daskalakis was essential.
The whole week will be animated with trainings, competitions, cultural visits, ceremonies and a Gala Dinner dedicated to the new foundation of the ISF “the School Sport Foundation”.
